So I have run into this problem that I have never run into before... I shot a low budget with another DP (young kid from film school) semi known artist. I say "Ok dude sure we can use my Scarlet and Standard primes" We both have a substancial amount of footage throughout the video. We both came into the video shoot as the DP I shot one day with out him, he shot one day without me and one day we shot together and took turns (I know this is sounding like really lame girl high school drama). So ends up this kid is kind of pulling a fast one on me and does not want me to post the video on my website because he wants the DP credit. I could care less about first or second unit on a low budget music video really but both of our work came out great. I want to post the video on my website in its entirety just as another full project that I have completed with a known artist to show clients because I DP full time. What should I do? I figure post it with the title 2nd unit DP. I really don't want to come off like a jerk because Im really not, I am very non confrontational and I see it as a collaborative effort between the both of us but apparently I am the only one who sees it that was.
