double image burned in

Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue - we've received some files shot on Red Helium, log310 red widegamut, pros res that look corrupt - looks like a static frame is burned into the clips so where green would have been in the static frame it burns magenta across the clip like a transparent double image / ghosting. I wasn't onset just wondering what might have caused this - apparently its across a few clips.
