[HELP WANTED] DOP & Steadicam Operator needed for Action/Adventure showcase - Los Angeles

Remember the early Spielberg era of the 80s? The Goonies? Indiana Jones? Are you hungry for more adventure films full of childlike excitement and edge-of-your-seat action scenes? BEYOND is a 6 minute-action sequence about a family on a road trip through the California desert. When a rock fall traps his parents inside the burning car, a 7 year-old boy must find the hero within him in order to save their lives. More about the project at http://www.beyond-short.com

The shoot will last for 9 days and is scheduled to take place this Fall. The director has shot many commercials for clients such as Coors, Xbox, Disney, Subaru and recently directed Leonardo DiCaprio in a commercial campaign launched in China. Because the project is entirely self-funded, we're pulling out favors anywhere we can and all positions are UNPAID. We will provide CREDIT in the film, your blu-ray & digital COPY of the final film within a month of completion, FOOD during the shoot and refund your EXPENSES. The goal is to create an outstanding showcase for everyone involved and generate tons of buzz in the industry early 2014.

We are currently looking for the following crew members:

Director of Photography
The story of BEYOND is set in the desert and is an ideal opportunity to create stunning shots. Strong contrasts, backlight, chiaroscuros, flares, sweaty faces, smoke, etc. You must be experienced with shooting with a Red camera. If you own equipment, are able to pull favors, get equipment for free, recommend or bring along your own camera crew, it's a big plus.

Steadicam Operator/Owner
Lots of moving/running shots. We're looking for someone with a natural sense of framing and able to take direction well.
