Does any one know if shooting slo mo and running more data through the camera will make your Red Volts discharge power faster? For example, say I can shoot a 25 min.( not that it's likely) take on one Redvolt, an then tried to soot for the same amount of time at double the frame rate, would my battery die sooner? Or is it possible to get say a 50 min. shot by shooting for 25min.? I know, weird question but I'm traveling soon with Redvolts and will be doing quite a bit of slo mo.

sorry cant directly answer....done a lot of slo-mo, but never paid much attention to battery life during....

I can pretty much guarantee battery life is less....
say at 96fps...the sensor has to reset 4 times as much, and depending on quality settings...writing 2-4 times as much data to the cards....

I cant really say for sure but my feeling is when I run the camera at high frame rates it does draw more juice... Seems only logical that the processor would have to run a lot harder to process 200fps as oppose to 24fps..

Hey I've been running REDVOLT tests with our Scarlet, won't have an EPIC back to test for another week or so. But run time shooting 1K WS @ 120FPS was 34 min and shooting 4K @ 30FPS was 32 min. Camera was allowed to get up to temp on AC power and fan set to 55% during record.
