Does Pre-record option drain battery quicker?

[Tim Janssens]

Hi guys, does anyone know that if you select pre-record on your Red (yellow dot on screen) your battery drains faster then normal?

Thanks!

It actually seems like it does

This is a good question as I have felt that it does drain the battery faster in pre record.
Seems logical as it's actually recording whatever setting of seconds you are using.

Good, then I am not the only one with that feeling Seems to drain a lot tho.

Seems logical that it would. Aren't you effectively recording continuously and just looping back every few seconds?
