Hi Freinds I am getting a An Arri FF2 around 1200usd to be work on the Red Pro Primes Set can any one suggest will it fit using a 19mm Adapter
Some one told me that It dosesnt fit because the lens is too wide and it goes beyond the lens barrel please suggest me to buy or not to buy

I use an FF2 with my RPPs, but I did a machine shop chop on it to re-mount it to 19mm. By default it only works on 15mm studio

Hi thanks shawn Can you explain me a little more of the choping you have done like I heard that if we use 19mm adapter then it Dont get to the gear
This choping technique looks pretty good but some explanation will be very
nice

The FF2 is 15mm only, you have to get a machinist to very carefully cut away the 15mm holes, then you have to attach it somehow to 19mm. What I did is make a simple L bracket (piece of aluminum) and bolted it to the Red universal mount

So what I understood is that if we open up the holes from 15 to 19 mm
it gonna work so no need adapter right please correct me if I am wrong
Do you require any more modification

No, that wouldn't work at all. If you saw a picture of it you'd understand why.

Even if you could bore out the rod holes, the centering would be off.

I'm not sure why you understand that at all. I told you what modification is necessary, you have to cut off the 15mm holes and mount a new pre-made 19mm mount, such as the Red universal mount
