Does anyone have experience with the Zacuto EVF Mount?

Just what the title says.

I need a better solution than the RED Arm, and although the ET mount looks great, we all know the price point on that puppy. Can anyone vouch for the Zacuto mount? Any comparison to the ET functionality?

Thanks!

I own both of the Zacuto mounts (there are two, it's not that hard to own both since there are parts cross-overs). I like them both. Both have been talked about a ton in multiple threads. Search the accessories forum for 'Zacuto'. The main thread you don't even have to search for, it's still on Page 1 of this forum.

I love the Zacuto mount. Price wise it's reasonable and feature wise it's 75% of the ET mount. I found that I can put just the right amount of friction in a few seconds that will hold the EVF but will still let me adjust it and leave it where I adjust it. I also love that I can slide the EVF all the way to the back of the camera to operate. You can't currently do that with the ET mount (though, you will soon be able to buy an extension for it.)
