Does anyone drive an E38 BMW X3, E84 X1, or a KK Jeep Liberty/Cherokee?

These are on my short-list. Got a recommendation? Something else, perhaps? I don't intend to go off-road. I like the 4WD (why not?), the ride height, and the practicality.

Never driven any of these but I wouldn't buy a vehicle that didn't have 4x4 or all wheel drive. You just never know when you'll need it.
