Do you think we'll see smaller siblings for LEICA Summilux-C soon?

I'm curious if anyone has any insight whether LEICA will make additional PL lenses, perhaps T2, or even T2.8.
Like say Cooke has s5, s4, panchros.

They released LEICA Summilux-C which is top of the line of course, but wouldn't it be great if we see their smaller (not in size) siblings?
It seems logical to do so, especially with still Leicas now so popularly adapted to Epic.
It doesn't seem like that much of an undertaking to make a T2 or T2.8 set made for cinema out of the box.

anyone has any thoughts? any rumors or likelihood of this happening soon?

this is the only thought holding me from buying panchros.

with the new generation of epics / scarlets / people i think people are looking for great PL sets in RPP-to-Panchros price range.

Leica is up to it's ears in backorders on Summilux-C's and S2 related projects.
If you can live with 2.8 buy the Pancro's yesterday. They are great for the money.

For me the real question is.....is RED working on a new set of lenses to directly
compete with the Leicas, as in, lightweight Red Pro Primes etc.

The man who is the principle designer of the Leica lenses, Iain, is a bit of a perfectionist and I do not think he would be upset to read that.
He designed all the PV Primos and I love him for that and I just used his Leicas and they are a wonderful design. I personally do not think he would want to design another set of lenses that were slower and less expensive .....
