Do you HAVE to do a BLACK SHADING CALIBRATION "every time" you start your SCARLET ??

I black shade when I update the firmware. Thats it. If there are no problems, no need to black shade. No need to fix something that doesn't exist.

Funny when I first read about black-shading, it sounded like I had to do it at every settings change.

I haven't done this in months even after a few updates.

What should I be looking for?

Is there a tell that I need to black-shade?
