  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Do you have QT proxies on or off?

I use Premiere Pro CS6 to edit and they play the R3D files well, are there any advantages to leaving the proxies on, or will I be better off saving some SSD space by turning them off?

Who does what?

THANKS

You don't save any space, but turn them off.
If you needed them, you could create them in rcx. On the r1 it is a known "hanging" bug to create them.
They were needed early on.

Not anymore.

Do they not still make editing more feasible on a lighter machine, like a macbook pro for example?
