Do not read if you are to emotional

Scott,

I want to offer the sincerest condolences from my family to yours.

We have a daughter and son, ages six and four, and recently dealing with the passing of a close family friend that played a prominent role in their lives. I can only speak from my own experiences when I say this. Your daughters will be looking to you for the guidance and support they need. And it will be in your daughters where you find the strength to lead them through this.

Your family is in our thoughts and we wish only the best for you and your daughters.

Thank you so much Scott for sharing. You are truly blessed to have such love in your life. I pray that God gives you strength and all that you need for what you have to do, for you and your children. May you and your children overcome this ordeal with more life, love and well being. I believe this death is only a temporary disconnect, that we will see each other again and life is everlasting. Keep on loving and being a good father.

I will continue to love more and show it everyday to everyone I hold dear and come in contact with. You can contact me through Reduser anytime if you want. You are my fellow brother in Reduser and in life. God bless you and your family.

Hi Scott, less then a month ago i lost my mother so i can understand the pain that you must be going through. it is one of the most difficult thing to cope with, the death of a loved one. i was very close to her and moved back from the US to my native place just to spend time with her. Stay Strong and think about the kids. they will carry forward her legacy.

regards,

-krish

So sad for you Scott. Will be praying for you that you would experience peace and have wisdom and strength, and also for your family that they would get through this too.

Suzy and I hold you and your family in our prayers and extend our most heart felt sympathies for your tragic loss.

I continue to thank everyone for their thoughts. Somehow keeping busy, although emotional, is a release and an ease at this time. Olga was never sad, never angry, so I try to keep her mood and love in my thoughts and heart.

Scott, my heart hurts for you and your daughters but your spirit sounds good and strong. Thank you for sharing your grief. I am deeply drawn to things Russian and those extraordinary people. I hope to one day see the film of your life with Olga Cherenkova-Miller. I wish for you strength, courage and understanding to help you and your daughters through this hard, hard time. My heart is with you.

David

Scott, as a husband and a father myself I can't even begin to fathom what you are going through. By sharing your story it does make all of us look at our own families and make sure they know how much we love and appreciate them.

Sorry for your loss, and I wish you and your family brighter days ahead.

Sorry to hear. Sometimes we get so engrossed in work we forget what or who really matters in the end.

It definitely puts things into perspective.

I'm sincerely sorry for your loss, Scott. Thank you for taking us into your confidence during such a difficult time. All the best to you and your family.

You opened by asking if this is an appropriate place to post. Such profound moments need not be burdened by propriety.

Having experienced a loss of a loved one not too long ago, I’d like to share with you a thought that might give some comfort. I know it did for me.

It was “her time” for reasons no one can fathom. Your loved one has left and yet, she will always exist. All of us are always a part of the universe in one form or another and nothing can diminish that. We will always be a part of each other. As unacceptable as it seems, everything that happens is the way it is meant to be.

Please accept my deepest condolences for you and your family.

Pete

Oh Scott, so sorry mate. My heart goes out to you and yours. You just hold it together pal, for your kids, your wife, your self and everyone that cares.

Good luck Scott. If you pass by Brisbane I'll buy you a drink mate.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I hope you find the strength to deal with this.

I too, am a father to two very young children and a husband to a terrific woman and I can't imagine being in the same situation. Thanks for sharing.

This should serve as a reminder to everyone that we have to appreciate and cherish the special people in our lives because they're not guaranteed to be here tomorrow.

God bless you and your children.
