Hey guys, the other day I got the idea that my LCD needed a hood so I might be able to see it better outside. The design I came up with is fairly simple and is made of nothing but black canvas, foamcore, Velcro, and a grommet.

Below are the pictures of it. I have to run to the store to get a 1/2" grommet for the LCD cable and I need to also add some Velcro on the sides to make sure it stays steady on the LCD.

Let me know what you think.

Nice, but how do you access the top buttons? :-)

If you look at the first picture you'll notice that I left 1" up at the top to access those button. That may not be enough for chubby fingers, but works just fine for mine. There is even a little room to go over the top so the back isn't backing up straight on the top where the buttons are.
