What case is that, Already answered posted this before seeing a second page , and where can you/did you get foam like that you can cut?

Is there something in your case to power the F2? Or do your setup still need AC somewhere? I am planning a shoot all outdoor with no AC outlet in sight. The only solution at this point is my Macbook an a portable USB device powered by the notebook. Any ideas?

The F2 can be powered off a USB or firewire bis I believe.

Looks great, but pardon my ignorance - why would You choose the glossy display, since obviously You are using this frequently outdoors? That must be a nightmare to work with on a sunny day... No offense...

Kristian chose the glossy because its better to jugde pictures on it. The F2 is powered by the FW400 port. I my case there is room for a 12V batt(type not decided(any suggestions are wellcome)) to power the Macbook pro or/and the second FW800 disc(client or REDmag)

Great job Kristian. I've been thinking about doing something similar myself - and scaringly close to yours, actually. Something like this will be expected as standard equipment very soon.
