Distorted and skewed anamorphic footage in premiere

I just shot some 5k anamorphic footage this weekend on my Scarlet Dragon, and although it plays back fine in Redcine when I bring it into Premiere for some reason it's being distorted and I can't figure out why. If this is a bug with Premiere it would seem like a major inconvenience for a lot of people. The amount of time it would take to convert it all to pro res would probably take days on my computer.

Here is a still of the footage when paused, it looks normal. The next still is when being played or scrubbed. If anyone experienced this or has any solutions I would be extremely grateful.

I have a similar problem. Everything works, except the thumbnails. Every thumbnail of an anamorphic clip in my media browser is skewed. Did you solve this problem?

What hardware are you using? How much RAM? What kind of GPUs? Do you have the latest firmware and drivers?

It's for reasons like this that I generally tell clients to just edit with lower-res proxies and not worry about the camera files until the final conform. The proxies will always work and won't be a strain on the computer at all, assuming anything made in the last 6-7 years.
