This is a video I shot at my trip to Bali, it was really hard to cary all equipment around but I think the end video was worth it!

All aerial footage is from an Inspire 2, since I don't have a Heli, 3 Monstros like some other guys here (Love u Phill)

Anyways, it was definitely some hardcore trekking with more than 60 pounds.

Beautiful location!

Do you mind sharing your gear list and camera configuration?

What would you do different if you did it again?

Were you traveling with multiple people to help or is this completely solo?

Sure, This is my gear list:

2 PG-150 Batteries,
4 Drone Batteries.
GL Optics 100 Macro, 15mm, 35mm, 135mm
Inspire 2 with x5s
Lowpro Inspire 2 Backpack.
Raincover,
RED Monstro VV

I did this completely solo without any planing more than everything 1 day before. Honestly if I could do it different for Bali at least, I would for once stay more days, stay in different hotels spread across different locations, scout locations and possible ideas for shots. To be really honest everything was so improvised it was really hard some moments since I didnt know what to expect when I arrived to the locations. I also would bring more Drone Batteries since 4 isnt that much with the inpsire 2. I also been debating if I should just get a Mavic Pro because carrying everything all day long was definitly a good work out.

And lastely I should had spend a little more time color grading, I think I rush it a little to early.

But overall I loved the experience of not knowing what to expect, I decided to go to Bali without any research 2 days before.

Am I the only one blown away by how rad the inspire/x5s footage looks?

Did you do lots of grading?

The inspire 2 has some amazing footage and taking in consideration everything was in automatic mode. I did some grading but I’m quite sure I can improve the drone footage with time while shooting and with an AC.

Some parts had sole highlights blow away but in general it was inspiring. I need to check the x7 camera
