  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Dirt Nasty - PUSSY TOO HOT (Dont watch it if your easily offended)

It's satire and I love it, Riff Raff makes me laugh like nothing else, though I'm not sure some of his contemporaries see it that way.

You want offensive rap? well just plain disgusting rap watch the unrated version of Ludacrises "booty" poppin, needles to say most of the video was censored and the main title "booty" is not the original title, this is almost a light satire of that video which was very serious and by no means a satire. (edit: perhaps I should warn the video is basically rated X, I caught it on rap city at like 2 in the mourning when I was younger and thought someone was going to get fired or something, I couldn't believe it was playing on basic cable)

And I'll take rappers perpetuating sexuality over glorifying crime and violence, give me an LL Cool J and even bone thugs, or if you are going to address crime be like tupac... before all the beef. Everything is shock value and since the 80's and nineties there has been little that shock so just be ready it's going to get much worse before if ever it gets better.

Yivis - just spat what I was eating out when I heard the sound that Foxes make!

Haha :)

1st video : [Edited : I don't know enough about this genre to recognise satire.]

from a production stand point, it was pretty sweet. found it comical as well. but obviously its geared more towards younger folks such as myself, with raunchy content and a contemporary hip hop kind of a feel. the music was kind of awful, but the overcranked model shots made up for it lol! i'm feeling it!

I thought it was pretty rad. I'm not a huge fan of the whole misogyny in hip hop thing but Dirt Nasty has a pretty strong niche in the sex raps. This video is way less misogynistic than Robin Thicke's Blurred Lines. This was at least fun and crazy, the opening shot of the palm trees was dope and just generally a really well made video. Sure there was some booty, but the women weren't particularly belittled in this video.

Seems like they should drop the music business and take up another business.

Nah, it's just daring people to take it seriously and then laughing at them.

So Brett I am curious. If you get a client that wants to shoot a video similar to this, would you take the job?

So... that is an excellent question Mr Tran... sounds like there are a lot of self righteous morals and judgment on this thread myself :)

Everyone here is focused on giving their opinions on misogyny that everyone forgot to comment on the art ;)

Was the video done well, or not... thats what I propose to you :)

If i had this one to do over, I would in a heart beat... everyone was dedicated and kind and the video in my humble opinion is very well done, from script to screen... It's not so along the lines of the stuff I normally write and direct (which I attached below just for reff) but this is a job I DP'd for a friend and is his crazy boundary pushing writing... Not something I could have created as a writer and visionary myself, but I admire his tenacity, originality and unique style... Lastly... If you didn't get that this video is in some way, a satire/the anti rap video and that its making fun of rap videos, with women with squirt guns, rather then real guns, rif raff speaking what appears to be "Klingon", and water balloons hitting (Rapper) too shorts girls ass wile she checks the mail, then you're a step behind ;) Go study a video or two more of dirt nasty's, such as "I cant dance, Im too jewish" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iyY2zzGZNjo or "cracker ass fantastic" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JbRqoz_FBa8... Might be some prospective help for all you old timers, above in the thread ;)

I'm a big Dirt Nasty fan, seriously, this guy is all about sarcasm and fun.
I watched the video before reading that thread and all I can say is "Well done Simon Rex, Avi and all the crew..."
People are freaking out on the clip and its content: mission accomplished.
Whatever your reaction is, this clip makes you feel something, that's a good point, isn't it? It means you're still alive!
Chill out, relax, even if you don't like Dirt Nasty, you can't say the job isn't done.
Avi, hope you have some more Dirt Nasty video to DP in a close future for my entertainment!
