  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

I'm gonna shoot a special Effects musicvideo with Red.
We will move into the Head of the singer through his eyes/ears/mouth.
I need to get a dollie move as close as possible to his eye (for example) to than extand the shot with 3D modelling. We're going to do the shot backwarts - starting in front of his eye and pulling- to get a faster start and really get the eye as close as possible and in focus of course.
What lense do I need to achieve this shot?
Would a Diopter work?

You might not be able to move out enough without losing focus with a diopter since you lose the ability to focus on objects farther away. Best to get a proper macro lens, they have a long throw so you can focus on everything from infinity to really close.
