Looking at getting some E27 bulbs for various practical lamps that I have for an upcoming project. I want to be able to dim the bulb right down without flickering. Colour temperature needs to be <3200k.

Originally looked at some low watt Philips incandescent bulbs but I cant seem to find them anywhere in the UK. Anyone know/used any good LED bulbs?

It depends a lot on the dimmer as well as the bulb. Get dimmers that are LED compatible.

Thanks Bob, seems like it could be a bit expensive though. It's a shame incandescent bulbs are hard to find, they're dirt cheap with no worries about CRI!

I hung on to a sh!tload of incandescent lamps. I have to think there are warehouses still full of that stuff so eBay should be a great source.
