Question for the group... what's your thought on Digi Green fabric vs Chroma Green fabric?

I'm actually having a hard time finding a recent discussion on this topic.

For the sake of this conversation let's say this is 10'x20' green screen for filming 2 talking heads in frame, in studio, on a Raptor.

What are some considerations for either digi or chroma green that you've experienced?

If you where to have one on your truck, which would it be?

Thanks!

Over the years, I tried most of the greens available. The one I think works best by is Composite Component's green.
We used that for a background and Seamless 'pure' green paper and Rosco green chroma paint, but imo, both of these have a lot of black in them.

As always, your mileage may vary.

For what it may be worth or fated to be a rabbit hole, I have found green pool table felt handy for covering old CRT screens which are curved. Spray-on contact adhesive with mist coats, not heavy coverage on the glass and on the felt seems to be about the best for attaching the cloth. You need to let the spray-on dry and keep the two surfaces separated with paper or cardboard as you offer the cloth up to the glass and try to get the edges right. greenscreen tv.jpg
