digging in Central Oregon

[Greg Syverson]

Just wanted to show off some of the rocks I found in Oregon. I bought a rock saw and cut them. Something to do untill I get back into the video business

I've done that! Tons of fun. The suspense always killed me when I was little waiting to find out if it would be a good one or just a rock lol.

I have waited several hours while a big one is on the saw to find out it was just a rock.

Then it is always a nice surprice to get something that is unique

What are you using to polish the surface?

[Greg Syverson]

The ones in the pictures have not been polished yet. They were cut with a 20 inch diamond saw. For the pictures I sprayed the rocks with water. Now I have a leather buffer pad that is charged with cerium oxide. This gives you that nice smooth glass finnish.
