different projects setting recording to same drive

Should i be able to record different projects setting to the drive without dumping and reformatting it? i would think so.

Also my user preset button 1 for false colour meter doesn't work, it works when set to zebra, edge highlight... is that a know issue?

I'm running build 20.1.3, currently upgrading to .6 now.

It would be very useful to do so. Recently I was working on 2 projects, one at 24fps and the other at 25 fps, and I had to keep re-formatting in between them. Annoying.

But according to the manual (and experience), no you can't record with different settings unless you reformat.

Base timecode rate (Time Base) is the only setting that requires a fresh drive if you modify it. You can change resolution, quality, varispeed frame rate, and audio settings without a reformat.
