  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

difference between QT full r3d

quicktime files are only reference files and don't work without the corresponding (RAW) r3d-File. quicktimes are ok for watching and editing, but do not deliver the best picture quality.

thanks Martin, but my question refers to difference technique ( bit depth, linear or logarithmic... ) why Qt full don't have the best quality?
 
are you talking about the quicktimes generated by the camera or the quicktimes you can generate in REDCINE or REDALERT?
