Sorry to flood this thread with topics. Got another one I’m trying to figure out.
I’m considering purchasing an Angenieux Optimo Zoom. What I’m trying to understand but not finding to much clarity on is the differences between the Style and Optimo. It looks like the style has different coatings that make it flare more but is there a difference in quality of glass to warrant the price difference? The Optimo is twice as much. Would be great to hear from some who have used both.
Also, last bonus question. Some of the older gen designs of the Optimo lenses (All black/no red and not DP) look like they can be found at attractive prices. Are those the same optics or has there been large improvements?
