Difference between M and X EPICS???

i want to know if there is going to be a big difference between M and X EPICS....??? i recently bought an M epic , its on its way....but soon i will need another camera....i want to know if there is going to be a significant difference for the X epic....should i wait for the X or not??? is it going to be the same as M???

I believe this is correct based on recent announcements and pricing. As always...change is inevitable.

If you are needing another camera "soon" as in a week or two, then Epic-M may be the way to go., in my opinion.

If you are needing another camera "soon" as in sometime late summer early fall, then waiting for Epic-X becomes an option.

And of course, that definition of "need" is as in "cannot do without" not "would like to have".

So much is relative, you know!

Not one pound less. .52 pounds less. From 4.5lb to 3.98lb.

it's not quite that simple. If you are comparing it to Stage4 EPIC, the M's are $58,000 for what will be $49,000 (when you factor in all of the included pieces), I believe.

Even if you were to buy the Stage4 Brain only, it is now $29,500 due to the new standard titanium mount.

If you think you can make $9,000 in the next 2 or 3 months, I don't see why you wouldn't get an M if you are also wanting all of the bells and whistles which come standard with an M.

Thanks for checking that, Joseph. I was re-reading Jim's post and was updating the image as you posted. You are correct when factoring it all the extra accessories that come standard with EPIC-M, it's a $9,000.00 difference. The biggest advantage the M has, I think, is immediate availability.
