  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Desired country of emigration

I think Franky said it well ...

"Fly me to the moon"

DogDay.

The island of Jersey (CI) for me - tax free & have friends over there - but need to be rich to live there.

There or Barcelona Spain to immerse myself in the city so that the film im working on will be all the better.

Andrew.

Mine is obviously Norway :)

Though both Gran Canaria and San Francisco are somewhat tempting...

Scandinavian countries are perfect, except for the weather.

If I could take Bulgaria's weather and Norway's economy\government, that would be the perfect country. :)

P.S. Umm, I'd take the girls too. :)

I emigrated to Canada and am rather liking it here.

Canada took me ok - I went through all the permanent residence and Citizenship stuff. It just took time...

Well, I passed the Citizenship test, so I guess I must be. But:

I don't do hockey, but I did learn to ski.
I don't do beer (any more), but I do do whisky (as you know)
I don't own or wear lumberjack shirts
I do like the cold!
I can spell colour! But I can't speak french.

Maybe India or China. Somewhat strange countries, but I fear the rest of the world is on the way down...especially the usa...but germany and most european countries are choking as well...

China
Switzerland
Afghanistan
Germany
Tanzania

What about Bounty one of Fijian islands?

Nice and clean tropical island, beautiful and friendly women... What every man needs more (?) ... :) .

Post industrial countries, stock meltdown, frustration, pollution, media's brain washing, insecurity, exploitation, etc,...

it's not for a man, it's not for a human being, it's for zombies....

Japan! :)

Just gotta learn more of the language and I'll be set.... well that, and getting past the interminal bureaucracy and the fact that becoming a citizen here is just about impossible! Even marriage only guarantees you permanent residency....

It's the most inspirational place I've lived in for what I want to do - direct more science fiction movies, hopefully one day a feature version.

I can't imagine leaving; all I'd want to do is come straight back!

Interesting thread.

Cheers,

Paul
