  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Designer 3D Glasses

If they work great i would get some. I want higher-end glass companies to put out quality 3D glasses. The ones at the theater suck (lol)

high quality glasses that lose less light is one thing. throwing in the "designer" aspect i think is absolutely clear cut case of superficial commercial greed. One might argue it's forward thinking when we start seeing 3d everywhere, I would argue, we aren't there yet and they are clearly marketing this as " to look trendy in a dark theater where nobody is looking at you anyway"

I bet for Oakley. :-)

Agreed!! I hate those ginormous frames they're set in. I personally would like to see a pair that had a top frame only with lenses that contoured the eye socket allowing me to watch naturally with my eyes and not my neck. Maybe someone could give Oakley a little nudge. :wink5:

I found the supplied glasses at the theater for Avatar way to small and not enough coverage for me to get the full experience. I welcome any new equipment that helps me enjoy the movie more, despite my distaste for 3D so far.

Designer or not, not all glasses fit everybody and personalization is always a selling point, like it or not.
