So, I'm minding my own business this morning, then I get a call from the Dept. of Homeland Security about a package I shipped to Irvine, CA. yesterday via FEDEX. My heart skips a beat...Three guesses on what they called about? My red one that I shipped back for a trade-in! Is it damaged, did someone steal it, and so forth, right?
The man told me it just was a "routine" random check, and maybe that's the case. In my experience, very little in life is random...especially with the gov! WOW. I know it's heavy, has electronics, and weighs a ton, but isn't checking out packages what X-Ray machines and bomb-sniffing dogs are for?
Regardless, the man was very nice. He just asked me routine questions about where I shipped it from, why I paid cash, etc. IT STILL SCARED THE SHIT OUT OF ME. Just thought I'd post this in case it happens to anyone else. With 6,000 cams headed back to Red, this issue will undoubtedly arise again.
