Dennis Rodman and the Epic

[Greg Clark]

We www.5kproductions.com shot Dennis Rodman for a upcoming iPad game today. Apparently the iPad 3 will have a Retna display so the developer wanted a 5K product. I attached a image from the shoot. Once the game launches I'll post the behind the scenes.

Did you just blow your NDA? LOL

Did you just blow your NDA? LOL

Haha, Apple rumor sites you heard it here first!!

With all upcoming QXGA tablets, I guess the Red cameras will do alot of this kind of work during 2012

[Greg Clark]

Ha I don't think they have any inside info, just based on the more solid rumors about iPad 3 and wanting to be future proof. I do see RED Camera's doing more of this type work going forward as apparently 5K at 96fps is excellent for photo realistic games.

I thought the 18-85 didn't cover 5K? This changes things with my next lens purchase.

[Greg Clark]

Louis, we haven't had any problems at 5K. It's a fantastic lens that meets most needs. The biggest issue is the size of the lens as it's very heavy so make sure you also have a good support solution if you purchase it.
