  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Been working on my new company reel and I'm looking for some constructive feedback. What do you like and dislike?


90% shot on Epic/Scarlet with a bit of 7D. Used Lomo/Ekran/CKBK, Rokinon and Canon glass.

Very good. But one little critique: I wouldn't have opened with the first three slo-mo shots you used. Obviously a lot of good stuff in your reel (including those opening shots), but opening with a series of slo-mo nature shots (VW Beetle notwithstanding) makes it feel like it starts too slowly. I'd have started with the shots at 1:19 to set the mood: "This is gonna be interesting as hell!", and go from there.
 
Thanks for the feedback, Bill. I see what you're saying. Given this reel is in part geared towards perspective corporate clients, I figured I would ease into the darker content, lol.

A few people mentioned they'd like to see more engaging opening shots, so I reuploaded a new cut with that in mind. Same link and password as above.
