Dell S2409W LCD not seeing Red???

Hello Guys,

Just bought several Dell S2409W for various Macs around the office which look and perform incredible @$219 ea. So I tried one via HDMI with the Red to replace my Sharp 26" on a C-Stand... nothing??? It goes into Power Save mode and does not react to cam. My Sharp works perfect when connected as does a dvd player into the Dell via HDMI.

Any ideas???

Does your dell monitor accept a 720p signal?

Yes it does-

Manual states-
Video display capabilities (HDMI playback) 480i/480p/576i/576p/720p/1080i/1080p

Video input signals
Analog RGB, 0.7 Volts +/- 5%, positive polarity at 75 ohm input impedance
Digital DVI-D TMDS, 600mV for each differential line, positive polarity at 50 ohm input impedance
HDMI, 600mV for each differential line, 100 ohm input impedance per differential pair
