HI guys i need your input help here from your experience

i am confused about purchasing dell 30 3007wfp or apple cinema 30

with my mac pro ?:help:

Bassam, got your PM, but since you posted here, I'll answer here.

I like the Dell monitors. The 3007WFP is overall very similar to the Apple 30" I think the Dell is a bit brighter and I've seen more pixel persistence or latent image ghosting with the Dell than with the Apple 30, but not enough more to really matter. Like the Apple, the 3007WFP only has a single DVI-DL input, it also has a 2-port USB2 hub and a memory card reader. The Apple has USB2 and Firewire ports.

Now, if you want to spend a bit more, the new Dell 3008WFP is a way better monitor. It supports more than the full NTSC color gamut and I believe most if not all of Adobe 98. IMO, if it weren't for an annoying backlight leak present on many of these and the lack of fine control, this display would be on par with many studio monitors. This one also has multiple inputs -- DIV-DL, HDMI, Component, S.Video, Composite and the new DisplayPort. The only catch is, I don't know if the 3008WFP model is available in PAL/50Hz countries yet.
