The "complete kit" fixed lens Scarlet is $3,750. Can anyone from Red tell us what that kit includes, exactly?
EDIT: Ryan beat me to it.
Actually, my question was could a RED ONE owner get the same EPIC X package (minus the $17.5K discount) and keep their current RED ONE?

Yes Sir.
FF1080P is Full Frame 1080p 1 - 30 fps variable frame rate. so includes 23.98, 25.00, 29.97 fps
unfortunately not.. unless w/ more whining.. eheheheheheBut those of us looking for higher dynamic range will still crave the Epic FF35. In truth, I'd rather have a MONSTRO in S35, but that's apparently not in the cards.

Are you asking for more then a 62% discount?
For the record, adding some features (or putting back features you had and then removed) doesn't count as "everything changing," nor does it render the Nov. 13 announcements "insignificant." If anything, it's made Nov. 13, and the DSMC system, MORE significant.
Don't get me wrong, love the new features, and as a RED One owner I love the Epic-X offer. I just think that Jim overstated the case a wee bit on this one. Probably could have just dropped the new features on us when you had them, rather than building them up for a week and a half.
That said, I'll totally be getting an Epic-X, and at LEAST one fixed-lens Scarlet kit. Glad to see that back and still in the HVX-killer range.

Ok, that's exactly my ABSOLUTE perfect camera for $3,750 BUT...
Stupid questions I have to ask:
- So that means a 2/3" Scarlet has a full frame sensor inside which is only used when you switch to FF1080P?
- And I supose that means you have to change the zoom to a full frame lens when you want to shoot full frame...
Am I correct?
I want to see if the "Select" in the Mysterium-X chip in the Epic-X has added dynamic range.
I'll admit, the deal looks terrific economically. . . $10,000 more for a killer new camera. But those of us looking for higher dynamic range will still crave the Epic FF35. In truth, I'd rather have a MONSTRO in S35, but that's apparently not in the cards.

So does that mean there's a variation on Redcode Raw that's storing RGB rather than bayer?
