  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

We all know Jim.

And there is no way Jim will be able to bite his tongue until midnight tonight without getting in his traditional fun teasing.

Jim is already bursting at the seems. He set up his announcement thread at 10am this morning. :)

So here is a friendly betting pool.

What time does the "teasing" commence tonight? (california time (PST:Pacific Standard Time) since that's where the Red company currently is based)

And considering the world economy, all the winner gets is bragging rights.

I say 8pm.
 
12:14am CST That way the bloggers,twitters, fanboys and haters have plenty of time to post the new info and praise it or rip it apart. A much better bet is how many pages the thread will be by the end of the day.
 
Technically, it already started with this Dec. 3rd thread prep this morning. But we'll just consider the next post as the start.

It would be difficult to determine number of pages because the display mode changes the page count.
 
Do we have a guarantee that Red won't look at this bet, and decide to ''adjust'' there timing?
 
The term "Pages" is arbitrary.
I have my settings at 40 posts per page...

And while I am not a betting man, I can say 8:30PM Dec 2nd

Considering it's just for bragging rights, I don't think there will be any motivation to do any insider tips and deals.

Lol. Okay, if that counts, I think I won. But I was soooo totally off. But let's say it has to be about the big breakthrough announcement, although a new upgrade plan for Red One owners is pretty cool!
 
To me, the big upgrade announcement could well be the biggest news of all.

You're right Stephen, the upgrade announcement just blew me away.
 
An new upgrade announcement is a much appreciated one!
For some of us the upgrade to Epic was a pretty big step...but we always hoped (and knew deep down) that Jim was listening!
