  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Dear Santa,

I share and play nicely almost all the time!

Most of the time my room is so clean that it sparkles like tinsel on a Christmas tree!

I always try to tell the truth, even if I did something naughty.

I'm going to leave Santa milk and cookies, mince pie or other yummy treats and drinks for a snack this year.

So Dear Santa , I would like to receive only one gift. My scarlet that was ordered on nov 3 #1162.

I really want you to bring a boatload of CNC machines to Red so they can crank out more camera bits. Maybe you can send your post 25th unemployed elves Jim's way.

I was contacted yesterday and told I could take delivery of my camera with a PL mount......sounds like the delay is on making AI canon mounts. Which might seem silly, but Red has alot of resources and a lot of very intelligent employees, theres obviously something very difficult they are dealing with.

Clearly he didn't say anything about production volume. However I think if you are to announce a product with this many orders, and with this philosophy change.

I think that Red should be ready to ship in large numbers, that however is not the case.

That being said Red is clearly getting better, I've been working with Red Products for a long time and patience is a requirement....That being said we should all be patient in waiting for them to ramp up behind the scenes to make the future require less patience.

My only complaint is not even having an estimate for putting down a large sum of money.....Even a "By February 1st" would be reassuring.

Yeah, I began the order process within minutes of the store going up. Still waiting.
 
I am new on REDuser.net, and new to being a RED camera owner. Though I haven't received my scarlet (#980), I am very excited for when it does! Does anyone know what the most recent canon mount scarlet order that has gone out is?
