  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

DCP Creation from Home

DCP software is one thing, theres some good applications available. The main part of the process is QA which is where skills are needed and is the main cost of the process.
Yep. Thanks for bringing this up, Dave. Just verifying XYZ colorspace and sound sync is not something a lot of people can do.

We have just added cropping, scaling and also color space adjustments in our new internal builds of FinalDCP. These features will be included probably in the next official build.

The color space adjustments allow you to adjust potentially "malformed" input data to correct output contrast.

We plan to have an interactive preview function there as well.

Give us a bit of time, as we are currently encoding many dozens of feature film DCPs for Fantasy Filmfest 2012...

I have just tried FinalDCP, very easy to use. Well worth a try! This is the route I will be taking.
