HELP!!!

I am working with a studio that uses the Red Monstro and they have just recently sent their footage to a post facility in Detroit and for some reason Davinci will not recognize any of the files from the Red.

We then tested the footage ourselves on a PC & Mac with the latest Davinci Resolve Studio Edition and getting the same results.

There is no problem with the footage itself we tested in Red Cine X and Premiere Pro CC 2018. This seems to be an isolated issue with resolve.

Does anyone have any recent experience with this?

We have also used Monstro Footage in Resolve Previously before upgrading to the studio version and previously the footage worked in the past. I believe the post house is using the 14.3 new update.

I have no problems with Resolve 14.3 Studio (latest version, with dongle not App Store), Desktop Video 10.9.11 (latest version), and OSX 10.13.3 supplemental (almost latest version). I also have RedCineX 50.2 (latest version) installed. I'm running on iMac Pro with Vega 64.

Thank you. We are currently updating to 14.3 to see if this fixes the problem. We also just updated Red Cine X to 50.2. As to our Video Desktop version. We are looking into that.

I'll report back.

Problem Solved!

Thanks Michael. Resolve 14.3 Studio on Windows and updating Red Cine X to 50.2 has fixed the problem.

All of our Monstro Footage is reading in Resolve 14.3
