  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

David Bowie The Stars (Are Out Tonight) - Shot on Epic?

Beautiful tone to the images, but hated the credits - ugly font, and didn't work for me with the motion of the camera.... they just made the intro feel cheap, and that is a diservice to the beautiful images, and David Bowie.

I can't get into credits on music videos. Some tasteful credits at the end when free work was involved, cool. Or if it is a particularly cinematic music video, which can then have tasteful cinematic credits. But intro credits, introducing someone so famous as David Bowie? It just looks like an amateur director and an amateur rapper wanting to get their name out their, when it was a beautiful video that speaks for itself.
 
Honestly, on YouTube I can't even tell, some times it looks like Red, other times like 5D, haha! That's actually might be the case, since I see more and more examples of music videos and shorts partly shot on DSLR as a B- or C-camera next to the R1, Epic or Scarlet.
