Date/time reset after powerdown

My date/time settings are always restored to default 1/1/2010 when i power down my camera. Is this a soft bug or is there some internal battery inside?

When you power it down? Or when you disconnect it from power (AC or battery)? Mine just came back from Red for losing Date/time info when I disconnected the power. Most likely a dead internal battery. I would file a support ticket

Your internal battery is dead, happened to me too. You have to send in your camera to get it replaced.

I have the same problem and have been quoted 100£ + VAT for replacing the internal battery.
