Data Manager

Hello. I recently started using the Red camera and the Cannon 5D on set. I was wondering what is the best data manager to use. So far the only ones i see is the Red data manager and Shotput Pro. Is there one good for certain situations or is there a good all around one. thanks.

Use r3d data manager for the red and create disk images using disk utility on the Mac with the 5d CF cards. This preserves the ability to do log and transfer in fcp. Best options I have used.

I use R3D Data Manager as well. The latest version also seems a lot faster.

R3D Data Manager is great for Red Footage.

I wrote a little shell script that works on OSX to copy footage and do MD5 checksums. I use it for pretty much all of my footage at this point. The only problem is you can't have any spaces in directory or filenames. You can get the script here:
