  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Darwin Drones : At-Risk Survivors

The drone videographer is currently droneless, and raising money for a new unit on GoFundMe.

stupid enough to deliberately break a 3000$ piece of equipment and then asking other people for money. How morales have changed over the years. I don't understand this society anymore.

It's starting to climb into the category of stupidity. I sense that what we're seeing and what we'll continue to see with a certain segment of the drone flying population is one-upping, trying to get more extreme shots regardless of whether doing so poses danger to themselves or to others. The other segment of the drone flying population are taking the right steps, making safety a priority and still getting some really cool shots.

Mark my words, the first child killed by drone will put all drone flying on hold until further notice and the politicians will be forced to take dramatic measures. I know people argue that cars kill every day and we don't stop people from driving. However, the two are not perceived the same right now. Cars are a major form of transportation. Drones are a luxury item at the moment, something that can be fun and interesting when in the right hands but potentially disastrous in the wrong hands. No one is using them for primary transportation. That's the difference and why shutting the whole damn thing down will be the mandate if someone does something really stupid.

Unfortunately, yes that was...stupidity driven by intoxication.

Which makes flying drones in populated areas without proper clearances and stringent safety measures even more stupid because many of these people aren't intoxicated they are just looking to score big on Youtube.
Or they just want to get a great shot of the girl scouts in the local parade.
