Damaged sensor, incompatable canon lens? HELP!!!

Hey everyone! So I'm very new to RED and may be doing something wrong, however, I've just purchased a second hand RED epic M and have been on a few test shoots in which it has performed wonderfully.

However

As I'm still waiting for my Zeiss compact prime set to arrive in 2 weeks, I have temporarily been using my old dale canon lenses as it has a canon lens mount:
canon 50mm 1.8
canon 24mm 2.8
canon IS 18-55mm 3.5

and now I've noticed in the midst of the test shoots, there has been a red/pink square appearing/flashing and sometimes remaining on the screen, sometimes when I record, it is even in the frame as well and has a lot of lines running through it and then it disappears. It has happened now with all three lenses and I'm very nervous that something is damaged and I should ask for a refund. Am I doing something wrong, are the lenses incompatible? Would seriously love some feedback and will try and post a photo shortly.

"old dale" lenses?

Doesn't sound like a lens issue. Is it always in the same place in the footage with different lenses?

Need pictures, or even a R3D snapshot from a recording (the little camera icon in Redcine-X Pro).

If it's an artifact coming and going then it's probably not a lens or a sensor issue but an electronics issue. Best contact the original owner about this and consult with RED.
