Hello there,

I am currently looking to find a Dailies Technician for a few upcoming jobs in Vancouver, Canada and figured I would post on here considering how many highly experienced users frequent these threads!

*** This job may require working overnight shifts ***

We are looking for individuals who have a minimum of 1-year experience specifically creating dailies on, near, or off set. Therefore please only apply for this position if you have actually processed dailies for another job in the past, as practical knowledge for this one is a must!

We want individuals who work well in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, can comfortably communicate with clients and co-workers, and are technically savvy.

Responsibilities:

· Color Correction
· Sound syncing externally recorded audio
· Processing to editorial specifications.
· Avid bin prep work
· Online distribution of digital dailies
· Quality control of backups including LTO archival
· Frequent communication with post-production and on-set crew members.
· Troubleshooting any issues that may arise during the course of the job.
