[FS: OPTICS] Customized Cine Lens Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM II Cinematics V2 NEW

[David Beique]

I recently purchased a Japan made Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM II with custom metal housing made by Cinematics, but decided on another lens so forced to sell this one. This lens is Brand New from Cinematics; I only removed it from the packaging and attached it to my Epic to confirm it worked. The housing was made to order and took 2-3 weeks before shipping out from China, where Cinematics is located.

If anyone was interested in purchasing this particular lens, then you could simply save yourself some time by purchasing it directly from me. I have this item listed on eBay here:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/231565729704?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649

but I am offering it to REDUSERS for $2350 PRICE DROP $2100 since there are no eBay fees involved. Price is pretty firm as I am trying to recoup what I paid and the item is considered New. US Buyers only; FREE SHIPPING CONUS. Payment through PayPal. PM if interested and provide your PayPal address so I can send an invoice for payment.

Have they only changed the housing or extended a focus throw too?

[David Beique]

Cinematics doesn't really change the housing; it's added housing over the original lens. With that being said, the focus throw is not really extended as it operates similar to the lens without the housing. All you're really getting is a metal housing with 0.8 focus rings for more accurate focus, and a 114mm front diameter.

If only it hard hard stops integrated as well

[David Beique]

Yea, like most Canon L lens, there are no hard stops, but it would have been nice if the housing somehow had that integrated; of course a follow focus with hard stops solves that. Lens is available for one more day as I will be returning it back to Cinematics if it doesn't sell by tomorrow. PRICE DROP $2100. PM if interested.
