Custom focus gears for your still lenses

Guys,

How about giving us a link on your appropriate websites and a PayPal tab to purchase these things? JBK Cinequip can do it so why can't you all?

It gets kind of frustrating when your stating the fact that you've been manufacturing these things for ages etc etc etc. but don't actually give us any more basic information like costs?

Companies such as W.M.Berg, Stock Drive Products and PIC among others offer hubless gears in both 32 pitch and .8 module (same thing) in diameters up to around six inches which would be good for a bore of around 5 1/2". Any decent machine shop will be able to open the inside diameter to whatever you want. The machinist might want you to pay for a face collet for the first one. Berg also offers blanks in 7.5'' and 12" diameters which you could have hobbed and machined to the specs. you so desire.

I liked Matt's lenses too, almost rented them for a DSLR shoot.

My plan was to send off our Zeiss's for rings and de-clicking of the iris at Duclos, but we got the Cinevate rings instead.

I plan on buying the next set of Zeiss lenses right from Duclos though pre-converted, and a tokina wide zoom too.
