Who are you guys using for custom cut foam for your DSMC2 eco system?

I was going to use Jason at Jason Cases but I asked if he could do it without putting his name on the foam and he got a little upset at me.

I'm looking for unbranded foam. I think the name of the person who cuts he foam etched on it looks tacky.

louis I beleive skb will do it, I still have a buddy who works for them if it interest you

mycasebuilder.com

works great.

I have a friend building custom cases for RED camera packages with legit foam. Not the cheap crap that breaks down, Message me if you're interested, I'm pretty sure the foam would outlast me.

Haha I was about to suggest Jason... imagine buying a Red with their logo... support the cause !

I guess its not the logo that bothers me, just how its presented, it looks like its forced into those designs. A logo that wasn't a large wall of text I'd be ok with.

That is where I went but they don't have DSMC2 in their system yet and I don't know how much I trust the photo tracing.

Sent you a message, thanks man!

Agreed on the Jason Cases. They look great, but I'm not into my cases saying Jason on them. Maybe if the company name wasn't just the first name of a dude. Like if it said Red or Pelican or something I probably wouldn't care.

ive had hits and misses with my case builder. Theyre great with simple shapes. But ive had a nightmare with more complicated shapes having to resend about 3 times.

Or Cinema Oxide, the original name of his brand.

+1...

anyway...something like mycasebuilder but in Europe??
That would be a market to take over, foam services here needs to scan the gear, it's a pain.

Shipping prices and customs on mycasebuilder are insane.

I would suggest HPRC in italy for european buyer. I have not bought any case from them till now, but the cases look good.
They have cases, they have a foamlab. Maybe you ask Ketch Rossi.

I want this in the states. Particularly multi-layer cases.

I actually own three cases from HPRC and got them in the states -- DJI Ronin M, Inspire 1, and tripod hard case. The cases are solid and the custom cut foam is the best part. Be wary that after each travel job you should inspect and realign the pegs used to hold the latches in place as they will come loose and could unlatch. I don't see it as a dealbreaker but coming from Pelican, it is a bit surprising that it has that type of weakness.

Hey, Just wanted to chime in.

New (Used) Dragon owner and needed new gear to be put in cases. I searched Here and other places and didn't want to have to draw things out myself for . For the folks in LA I found caseclub.com They were really helpful with getting a custom design made. They have a few case brands to choose from as well as around 8 different types of foam if I recall as well. Anyways, nice folks and really helpful.

cheers.

Haha i actually got stopped by customs entering a few days ago going into NZ with my gear without proper paperwork... They wanted to know who Jason was.. They thought it was a business name or identity i was keeping secret.. I get it now :)
