Current anamorphic rental options...

[Evin Grant]

Other than Panavision and Lomos from Owner/Ops what anamorphic lenses are available for rental out there and from where?

The film will shoot in Alaska but the lenses could come from almost anywhere.

Thanks,
E.

There are a few places I can think of off the top of my head. Clairmont has some anamorphics. Handheld Films in NY has a set of Elite anamorphics. Abel can arrange a set of Vantage anamorphics for you as well. There are others out there but that's what I can think of at this moment.

[Alexander Alexandrov]

I believe Camtec has Kowa's

[Stan Paik]

Slow Motion Inc. (in Sun Valley, CA) also has a set of Elite Anamorphics

[Evin Grant]

Mitch, can you send me a ballpark quote on a set of Vantage Anamorphics for 5 weeks?

[Mitch Gross]

I'll have to check on that on Monday. Let's email privately.

[Curran Giddens]

Don't forget C.H.Haskell also has a set of Hawk's in NYC.

[Darryl Wood]

I have a set of Cinevisons (JDC) for rent too. 35mm T1.3, 50mm T1.3, 85mm T1.3 & 100mm T2.

Email me details on the rental and I can send a quote.

[Steve Gal]

I have a set of Elite Anamorphics for rent. 24.5, 32, 50, 75, 135mm. Available in NYC or anywhere.

We at Camtec carry the Hawk V Lites, The Hawk V's and Kowa Anamorphics. We also have a set of Todd AO's that will be in rental in a month or so. We are located in Burbank, CA.
