  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

CS4 Coming soon!! September 23

Yes!!

Any rumors on features?

I want Camera RAW for Premiere Pro CS4 and no spatial restrictions of any kind.

well if it has anything to do with Nvidiots I will stay away. My 1 year and 2 month old 17" MPB with the high rez screen just caught the nvidia disease
and stopped displaying on screen and out the external...3000 dollar boat anchor.

I guess you'd better go out and buy a boat that warrants a $3000 anchor then. Maybe you'll be able to unwind from all the stress caused by things that are supposed to work, but don't.

I'm going on past experience with Adobe - this is only the hype before the release (which has already been scheduled for Nov 16th during MAX), also the other thought is that there has been absolutely no news on video applications - and I have tons of notes from testers about the web and design apps. I fear that this is going to be another split release cycle Web / Design now and Production later on (as it's not been a full 18 month cycle for Production yet - but right on target for the other.) Any Thoughts?!

Also - I've already been in contact w/ my B2B rep who will alert me when the new Adobe Sku's are added (I hope). Follow me on twitter @big_b_rad for news (DM me if you want to be on the alert list!)

Sep 23 is just the announcement date, not a ship date

There are -lots- of massive enhancements to adobes video products, as premiere, on location, encore, after effects, flash, media encoder etc.

Most testers however are under strict NDA.

That is what AppleCare is for.

Fully understand! Thanks for the reminder... Really make me want to hear from my vendor now!

don't get me started with that! I posted this problem on apples discussion forum and they removed my post!!! if you have a MBP from June of 2007
you better have apple care or suffer the consequences

You may be able to see some of that this Saturday. Kevan O'Brien is coming down to RED L.A. User Group to show how it all squares away with RED workflow. They are also giving out Production Premium as the door prize. This is free CS4 for those who can wait until street date (or CS3 for those who want instant gratification).

You can just show up at the event but it'd be better if you RSVP:
