Anyone having any luck importing R3d footage into After Effects CS4? Every time I try it, it crashes! Why is this not as easy as Final Cut Pro?

I have the latest version of the CS4 plugin installed and just downloaded After Effects.

Anyone getting this to work?

Thanks, mark

Mark, Adobe is notorious for crashing with installing new version over older ones. We always make a clean installation. A lot of us are using PPro to import and edit and then export to AE without any problems.

We just finish a long form feature using only PPro and AE.

I import R3D files into AE directly without any problem - Lim
