(crimson) Final cut XML exports wrong IN n OUT

Hiya,

Been pulling my hair out trying to figure out why all my clips are not in sync to my edit in RedCine (through crimson). :head_explode:

Been trying various things for two days and have narrowed down the problem. FCP seems to export the XML file with the wrong in and out points, it all seems be roughly (varies) 100 frames before the actual points.

Can anybody help me out!! I really dont want to manually correct the in and out points in the XML file for this documentary edit..

Any help would be much appreciated...

Did you figure it out?

It was a proxy problem. The editor had sync'd sound with multi-cliping (?) instead of Merge clip. Had to replace every multi-clip with the org. proxy file.

Check in crimson if there are shifts between the r3d and the proxies.
